Oh and did I mention that a car repair I expected to cost about $300 only cost $150!!! God is SOOO good.
This coach that was talking to me when my car died, knew someone that has their own towing company... and that guy happens to also have his own mechanic shop. SO... his friend said he would tow my car for $45 to my dad's house (about a mile from the ballpark) or he can tow it to his shop for free if they do the work. So I called around and figured out I could buy a starter for $95 and then have it towed for free to the shop. They only charged me $58 for labor!!! I replaced my starter, had my vehicle towed and repaired for $150... you can't beat that.
OH and the most exciting thing about the whole endeavor?! My mechanic is a Christian. Totally sold out for God! He was so friendly and told me God Bless You and kept reassuring me... it was so great to go to a mechanic, not worry about being ripped off, or wondering if it was fixed correctly... I felt such peace! And thats right... I said MY mechanic. I now have a mechanic! And my dad even liked him so he just got two new customers!
